Enjoy an array of freshly prepared sandwiches, sumptuous fruit and plain scones with clotted cream and local strawberry jam, and a tempting assortment of homemade cakes.

Whether you prefer a more formal affair such as a baby shower or a relaxed catch up with friends, The Norfolk Mead offers a variety of beautiful settings to suit your mood. Revel in the serenity of our private walled garden, complete with lush greenery and a sheltered terrace, or unwind in our cosy bar or lounge areas by the fire. For a more refined experience, you can enjoy your tea in our elegant dining room or the sophisticated Georgian Room. We also serve afternoon tea in our Conservatory Restaurant, located within our Spa.

Terms and Conditions

To secure your afternoon tea reservation, full payment is required at the time of booking. Payments can be made online, over the phone, or in person.

Cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice will be fully refunded. Cancellations or rescheduling made with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable. In the event of no-shows, payments are non-refundable and cannot be transferred.

Please inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies at least 24 hours notice prior to your booking to ensure we can accommodate your needs.

Changes by The Norfolk Mead reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule.
